Grey, Rooney pace Seahawks with first-place ribbons

PORTSMOUTH, R.I. - Salve Regina University equestrian team hosted its first show since returning to varsity status. The field included 10 schools competing for ribbons in 18 classes at The Glen in Portmouth, Rhode Island.

Salve Regina freshman Hannah Grey (Plymouth, Mass.) opened with a second-place ribbon in Intermediate Hunter Seat Equitation over Fences (Section B) and followed with a first-place rbbon in Intermediate Hunter Seat Equitation on the Flat (Section B). Her classmate Kenna Rooney (Westford, Mass.) joined her with a first-place ribbon in Novice Hunter Seat Equitation over Fences (Section A).
