PROVIDENCE, R.I. The Seahawks (6-5), playing their first game in New England following a seven-game Florida trip, built a 6-0 advantage after their first five offensive frames. Starting pitcher Brayden Clark (Beverly, Mass.) earned his first decision (1-0) in his fourth start of the season. The second-year righty allowed two earned runs on eight hits with three strikeouts in 5.1 innings pitched. He was backed up on the mound by relievers Graham Jeffries (Chelsmford, Mass.) and Nicolas Santo (Pompano Beach, Fla.).

D'Amato doubled in Wil McCarthy (Pembroke, Mass.) for the game's first run in the top of the second. Cannoe had an RBI double in the third and then came home on O'Malley's run-scoring double.

Sophomore shortstop Michael Breen (Auburn, Mass.) collected two hits and scored two runs.

The Seahawks moved their scheduled game with UMass Boston from Thursday to Wednesday (tomorrow) due to weather concerns for later in the week. First pitch at Reynolds Field is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
