CCC Rookie of the Week: Dustin Siqueira

NEWPORT, R.I. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has selected Salve Regina University freshman Dustin Siqueira (Trumbull, Conn.) as its Rookie of the Week for baseball (April 30 - May 6).

CCC Rookie of the Week - Siqueira had hits in two of the three games he played in this week for the Seahawks. He also had at least one RBI in each of those two contests. His biggest game of the week came against Gordon. He went 2-for-3 with a run scored and two RBI, while also stealing a base. The win against Gordon helped Salve Regina clinch the top seed in the CCC Tournament.

Salve Regina (24-13, 12-4 CCC) hosts Endicott College on Monday afternoon in a championship pod final.
