Salve Regina baseball (8-6, 2-0 CCC) opened their defense of the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) title with a sweep of Gordon College on Saturday.

Junior attack Brendan Treacy buried the game-winner with 3:07 remaining in overtime to give Salve Regina men's lacrosse (3-4, 1-0 CCC) a thrilling 10-9 victory over Curry College in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Saturday evening.

Three different players recorded hat-tricks for Salve Regina women's lacrosse (4-0, 1-0 CCC) as it defeated Curry College, 18-3, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action to improve to 4-0 for the first time in program history.

Salve Regina softball (8-3, 0-0 CCC) improved to 3-1 in extra-inning games and added two more walk-off wins in their first home outing at Toppa Field in 2022. The Seahawks rallied for two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning for a 2-1 final in Game One versus the Anchorwomen of Rhode Island College, and then a 4-3 final in Game Two resulted from a bases-loaded walk. Freshman outfielder Katie Ramos had the last Seahawk at bat in both game-ending dramas. Her classmate Alex Kelly earned the pitching victories in both outcomes, as the starter in Game One and reliever in Game Two, to improve to 6-1 on the season.

Raimundo Bascunan pushed Matt Glassman in two tight sets but the Hawks of Roger Williams swept all nine matches with the Seahawks of Salve Regina in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men's tennis (0-7, 0-1) match at Newport.

Salve Regina women's track and field junior captain Mary Kate Scalzulli finished second overall in the Women's 400 Meter Dash, behind only Assumption's Peri Snow, at the Bears Invitational hosted by Bridgewater State University in the first outdoor competition of the season. Scalzulli's time of 1:01.08 bested all others from Division III schools.
