Seahawks, Palmquist earn academic honors from USTFCCCA

NEWPORT, R.I. – The Salve Regina women’s cross country team has been named an All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, marking the third consecutive year that the Seahawks have made the grade with the USTFCCCA.

53 Seahawk athletes from seven fall sports are represented on the 2014 CCC Fall All-Academic Team; the individuals in this composite photo own the highest grade point average on their respective teams (l-r) - Jake Weinshank (men's soccer), Jay Brennan (men's cross country), Sarah Thompson (field hockey), Joelle Ross (women's cross country), Katelyn Beauregard (women's volleyball), Emma Gruber (women's tennis), and Raine Oesterle (women's soccer).

DUDLEY, Mass. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) senior woman's administrators hosted their annual meeting today (December 15) at Nichols College in Dudley, Mass.

NEWPORT, R.I. – Watching Aubrey Palmquist (Bristol, Conn.) lead the scoring charge, week after week, for the Salve Regina women’s cross country team, it’s hard to believe that the junior captain spent 225 days out of action in the last year.
