NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University women's basketball defeated Gordon College, 49-40, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at the Rodgers Recreation Center.

Rodgers Recreation Center, built in 2000, will be site for two CCC basketball games (12 and 2 p.m.) on Saturday.
