NEWPORT, R.I. – The Salve Regina University student-athletes came out in full force last Saturday, April 13, to wrap up national Division III week as athletes from all of the university's teams not in competition volunteered at Special Olympics held at Gaudet Field in partnership with Special Olympics R.I., East Bay Games.

CENTERVILLE, Mass. – The Salve Regina University men’s ice hockey team placed seven student-athletes on the 2012-13 Eastern College Athletic Conference All-Academic Men's Hockey Team, as announced by the interim commissioner last Friday.

Freshman Peter Gintoli will help represent Team USA in the 2013 World Deaf Ice Hockey Championships in Helenski, Finland.

NEWPORT, R.I. – Coming off one of the most successful seasons in Salve Regina’s men’s ice hockey history, freshman forward Peter Gintoli (Monroe, Conn.) is ready to help another team, Team USA, make a run at the 2013 World Deaf Ice Hockey Championships.

NEWPORT, R.I. - With its 3-2 win over Nichols last Wednesday, the No. 5 Salve Regina men's hockey advances to the championship game of the ECAC Northeast tournament against top-seeded Wentworth. The Seahawks and Leopards are set to square off at Matthews Arena in Boston, Mass. at 1 p.m.

BOSTON, Mass. – The Salve Regina men’s hockey team fell to Wentworth Institute of Technology in its first ever Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Northeast championship game, Sunday afternoon.

CENTERVILLE, Mass. - The Salve Regina men's ice hockey team landed three players on the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Northeast All-Conference teams as well as head coach Andy Boschetto being named the Co-Coach of the Year, as announced by the conference late Friday night.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The visiting Salve Regina men’s ice hockey team didn’t let history get in the way as the Seahawks snapped a four-game skid to Western New England and advanced to the ECAC Northeast semifinals for the first time since the 2001-02 season with an 8-4 win at Smead Arena.

CENTERVILLE, Mass. - Sophomore John Scorcia (Hudson, Fla.) and freshman Peter Gintoli (Monroe, Conn.) have each earned their second Eastern College Athetlic Conference (ECAC) Northeast weekly honor of the season. Scorcia was named the Player of the Week while Gintoli was tabbed as the Rookie of the Week, marking the fifth time a Seahawk has received the honor this season.

PORTSMOUTH, R.I. – Freshman Peter Gintoli (Monroe, Conn.) stole the show on Salve Regina’s men’s ice hockey senior night as the freshman netted his first career hat trick as the Seahawks soared past Becker, 7-1, Wednesday night at Portsmouth Abbey.
