NEWPORT, R.I. (Wednesday, May 8, 2024) -- Salve Regina baseball has advanced to the NEWMAC postseason as the No. 1 seed, earning the right to host Thursday, May 9, and Saturday, May 11.
The winners of game six and game seven will advance to the final day of action on Sunday, May 12. The highest remaining seed in the tournament will host Sunday. The Seahawks enter the tournament ranked No. 4 by D3baseball.com and No.6 by the ABCA coaches' poll.
All NEWMAC postseason games are ticketed events. Tickets to the games can be purchased directly from the NEWMAC website here: bit.ly/NEWMAC-tix. Please be advised pets will not be allowed in spectator areas.
Street parking can be found on Shephard Avenue, adjacent to Reynolds Field. Fans may also park in the Rodgers Recreation Center parking lot.
The NEWMAC tournament schedule is as follows:
Thursday, May 9 - at Salve Regina / Coast Guard (schedule change from Friday, May 10)
Game 3 – No. 4 Wheaton at No. 1 Salve Regina – 1 p.m.
Game 4- No. 3 Babson at No. 2 Coast Guard – 12 p.m.
Saturday, May 11 – at Salve Regina (double-elimination)
Game 5- Loser Game 3 vs. Loser Game 4 - 9:30 p.m.
Game 6- Winner Game 3 vs. Winner Game 4 - 12:30 p.m.
Game 7- Winner Game 5 vs. Loser Game 6 - 3:30 p.m.
Sunday, May 12- At highest remaining seed (double-elimination)
Game 8- Winner Game 6 vs. Winner Game 7 - 11:00 a.m.
Game 9- Winner Game 8 vs. Loser Game 8 (if necessary) - 3:00 p.m.
