NEWPORT, R.I. – Trailing 3-2 in the top of the ninth inning the Salve Regina University baseball team scored five runs and shut out Framingham State University in the bottom of the frame to claim the 2015 ECAC Division III Baseball Championship.

NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University freshman right fielder David Neil (Randolph, Mass.) collected three basehits including an RBI single to lead the second-seeded Seahawks to a 4-3 victory over Massachusetts Maritime Academy in an Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Baseball Championships semifinal.

NEWPORT, R.I. - For the second straight year, Salve Regina baseball has earned the No. 2 seed in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC Division III New England Baseball Championship.

NEWPORT, R.I. - Entering the third day of the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) 2015 Baseball Championships as one of only two unbeaten teams, Salve Regina University (24-16) suffered two heartbreaking defeats.

WENHAM, Mass.—A big first inning spurred sixth-seeded Salve Regina to its second straight upset in the Commonwealth Coast Conference tournament, knocking host Gordon out with a 15-5 win.

Kyle Pheland pitched a five-hit complete-game shutout (2-0) in the opener of the 2015 CCC Baseball Championships against the top seed. The senior righty was helped by three double-play ground balls including a game-ender on his last pitch.

BEVERLY, Mass. - Salve Regina University baseball wins its 11th straight behind the nine-inning complete-game shutout of senior pitcher Kyle Pheland (No. Scituate, R.I.) in a 2-0 victory over Endicott College in the opener of the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championships.

Alex Perry batted .429 (9-for-21) with three home runs and 14 RBI as the Seahawks posted a 5-0 weekly record and ran their winning streak to eight games.
