But wait, there's more ...

NEWPORT, R.I. - Three different organizations have bestowed first team All-New England honors on Salve Regina University freshman designated hitter Alex Perry (No. Attleboro, Mass.) - D3baseball.com, ABCA/Rawlings, and New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association (NEIBA).
The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) rookie and player of the year, Perry leads the nation in RBI per game. In a jam-packed April with 21 games, Perry hit an incredible .487, with nine homers and 42 RBI, slugging .902 for the month.
While ending the season with a 25-game hit streak, Perry also went 4-for-8 in Salve Regina's two-game sweep for the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Baseball Championship (May 9-10). Perry also batted .500 with two doubles and a homer in five games versus NCAA tournament teams.
His first team status makes him eligible for the All-America ballot for both D3baseball.com and the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA).
