NEWPORT, R.I. – Salve Regina University has landed 38 student-athletes on the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) 2013-14 Winter/Spring Academic All-Conference Team, announced Wednesday, June 4 by Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye.

Roth's career earned run average is the best in Salve Regina baseball history with a minimum 100 innings pitched.

NEWPORT, R.I. - The 2014 D3baseball.com All-Region teams have been announced with the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) featuring nine players on the New England squad, including one from Salve Regina (26-15) - sophomore outfielder Ryan Kelly (Waldkill, N.J.).

Hughes, Pate, Hanlon, Kelly, McKeon, and Nguyen led Seahawk men's teams in 2013-14.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The inaugural 2013-14 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Men's All-Sports Trophy went to Roger Williams University while Salve Regina University finished sixth.

Vincent Roth will pitch in the NEIBA Senior All-Star Game later this month; Kelly's only the second Seahawk to be named to the squad as a sophomore (Justin Collett in 2007).

CENTERVILLE, Mass. - Salve Regina University baseball earned the No. 2 seed in the 2014 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Baseball Championship. The tournament is an eight-team field with a quarterfinal round followed by a semifinal and championship round.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Salve Regina University baseball rallied for two runs in the top of the ninth to take a 6-5 lead but the Western New England squad scored twice in its ninth inning to win 7-6 during first-round action of the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) double-elimination tournament.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) announced its all-league baseball team today and six Salve Regina University players were voted to the squad - seniors Tyler Colby (Easton, Conn.), Anthony Conte (Georgetown, Mass.), Dominic Di Sano (Central Falls, R.I.), and Vincent Roth (Pleasant Valley, N.Y.), sophomore Ryan Kelly (Waldwick, N.J.), and freshman Alec Kucich (Old Brookville, N.Y.).

NEWPORT, R.I. – Salve Regina freshman lefty Cole Tretter (East Lyme, Conn.) pitched five shutout innings with six strikeouts and sophomore left fielder Ryan Sweenor (South Kingstown, R.I.) blasted a three-run homerun as the Seahawks (23-11) won their sixth straight game with an 8-3 victory over Brandeis on Friday afternoon.
