Nancylee Paris Settle still holds the record for best singles winning percentage at Salve Regina. She played first singles all four years and had a record of 44-2 in dual matches, and an overall record of 59-8 including tournament play. Paris led the team to a winning record each year and helped the program begin a six-year winning streak as league champions in the Commonwealth Coast Conference. She advanced further than any Salve Regina player at the New England Women’s Invitational. She also competed in the Rolex ITA Championships in 1990. Paris was nominated as one of the top athletes among Rhode Island colleges and universities in 1990. She graduated in 1991 with the most doubles victories in school history.
