Pallotto leads Seahawks at NCAA Regionals

CUMBERLAND, Maine - The Salve Regina University women's cross country team placed 21st at the 2009 NCAA Division III New England Regional Qualifier Saturday afternoon in Cumberland, Maine.

 

Freshman and The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) Runner of the Year Paige Pallotto (Woodbridge, Conn.) led the Seahawks and placed 65th overall with a time of 23:40.3 on the 6,000 meter course.

 

Freshman Mallory Goding (Cumberland, Maine) was next in 122nd place with a time of 24:58.3, followed by sophomore Taylor Rosendale (Grafton, Mass.) in 145th place (25:16.6), sophomore Caroline Norton (Portland, Conn.) in 154th place (25:26.5), junior Marisa Fiore (Lexington, Mass.) in 160th place (25:33.0), freshman Alexis Gallipoli (Branford, Conn.) in 165th place (25:44.1), and senior Kathleen Faltus (West Warwick, R.I.) in 229th place with a time of 27:03.1.
