NEWPORT, R.I. - Andee Bender (Lebanon, Conn.), Annie Donahue (Chelmsford, Mass.), and Nicole Karabiach (Greenlawn, N.Y.) of the Salve Regina University women's volleyball team each earned All-Conference recognition from the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC).

Senior, and team captain, Annie Donahue makes her fourth All-CCC squad, having been named a first-team middle blocker in each of her four seasons at Salve Regina. Karabaich improves on being named a third-team All-CCC performer in 2018 with a second-team nod this year in her sophomore season. Bender, a junior captain, makes her first All-CCC team.

"Annie, Nicole and Andee have been solid performers for us on the conference side of play," said head coach Lauren Parsons. "Annie has made first-team all four years and I am happy to see her leaving her mark as a senior.  Nicole has now made All-Conference her first two years here at Salve and she is a player that will continue to thrive and bring a competitive edge to the team.  Andee has just come out of her shell and going into her senior year she brings a level of athleticism, power and drive to the team. To see them all get recognized it great!"

Salve Regina (13-14, 5-3 CCC) claimed the fourth seed in the CCC postseason and will host the University of New England this Tuesday, November 5, at 7 p.m., in the CCC quarterfinals.
