SEAHAWKS NOTES FROM THE NEST

  • The Seahawks' 20 wins so far this season is the third most in program history.
  • The Seahawks have made the postseason every season under seventh-year head coach Lauren Parsons.
  • The Seahawks have never won a conference title and have twice been CCC Tournament runners-up (2012, 2014).
  • Madison Lee leads the Seahawks in kills (239) and ranks seventh in the CCC.
  • Erin Proctor ranks fourth in the CCC in assists (719) and service aces (47).
  • Annie Donahue ranks fourth in the CCC for blocks (48).
  • Megan Parham ranks eighth in the CCC in digs (284). This season she became the seventh player in Seahawks program history to surpass 1,000 career digs despite missing her entire junior season.

GOLDEN BEAR BITS

  • The Golden Bears have never won a conference title and have twice been CCC Tournament runners-up (2009, 2016).
  • Ashley Matthews ranks fifth in the CCC in kills (262).
  • Jenna McCormack paces the Golden Bears in assists (809) and ranks third in the CCC.
  • Jenna Ferguson ranks first in the CCC for service aces (54) and ninth in the conference for digs (275).
  • Kierah Parker leads the Golden Bears in blocks (51) closely followed by teammate Cassandra Holmes (49). They rank eighth and ninth respectively in the CCC.

INSIDE THE SERIES
The Golden Bears own a 9-6 record in the all-time series however the Seahawks have won the last two meetings including a 3-1 triumph earlier this month in Springfield, Mass. In that game the Seahawks were led by Cassidy Trabilcy who totaled a match-high 14 kills and 12 digs, Annie Donahue who hit .588 with 11 kills, and senior setter Erin Proctor recorded 38 assists and ten digs.

The last postseason meeting between the Seahawks and Golden Bears came in 2015, a 3-2 Western New England victory in the CCC Quarterfinals, avenging a Seahawks 3-2 victory the year prior in the CCC Semifinals.
