Salve Regina University women's volleyball finished with three match wins against just one defeat in the season-opening trip to Scranton, Pa. The Seahawks face three teams for the first time - defeating Mt. Aloysius (3-0) and Shenandoah (3-2) before suffering a 3-2 setback to the host Royals of Scranton University. Salve Regina finished its trip with a 3-1 final over New Jersey City University, a team the Seahawks faced twice previously in back-to-back years in the Endicott Invitational (2007 and 2008 in Beverly, Mass.).
