NEW LONDON, Conn.--The Connecticut College volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 victory against Salve Regina University in a match played at Luce Field House Thursday.

The Camels, ranked #2 in New England, improve to 17-2 with their seventh consecutive triumph. The Seahawks slip to 13-10.

The game scores were 25-18, 25-19 and 25-21 in favor of the hosts.

Salve Regina was led by sophomore Jennifer Duggan's (Merrimack, N.H.) nine kills, sophomore Taylor Violet's (Tiverton, R.I.) 23 assists, and senior Megan Clancy's (Chelmsford, Mass.) 18 digs.

Caroline Martin (Palo Alto, Calif.) continued to build on her successful rookie season, finishing with 15 kills and four digs for the Camels. Rachel Schroff (Palos Verdes, Calif.) contributed with six kills and 11 digs while rookie outside hitter Gabi Taylor (Austin, Texas) finished with six kills and three digs.

Senior setter Katie Ketcham (San Francisco, Calif.) dished out 31 assists to go with eight digs. Andrea Mullaney (New Canaan, Conn.) registered three kills to go with five assisted blocks.

The Seahawks will return to action this Saturday at the Crabtree Invitational hosted by Eastern Connecticut State.
