NEWPORT, R.I. – Salve Regina University junior Megan Clancy (Chelmsford, Mass.) has been announced as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) libero of the week for the second straight time.

Clancy led the Seahawks to a 2-0 week, including conference victories over Western New England University and the University of New England. She averaged 5.67 digs per set while also recording a .984 receiving percentage.

She began the week by compiling 26 digs during an exciting 3-2 victory over the Golden Bears, before returning to compile 25 digs over just four sets during a 3-1 win versus the Nor'easters on Saturday. In the two matches combined, Clancy had just one receiving error in 63 attempts.

Due to outstanding performances like these, the Seahawks are off to a perfect 4-0 start in the conference. Clancy and the Seahawks begin a four-match road trip this Tuesday when they face Eastern Nazarene at 7 p.m.
