NEWMAC Track and Field Championship ticketing

The Seahawks will compete at the NEWMAC Championship meet beginning on Friday, April 26.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Salve Regina women's track and field will compete on Friday, April 26, and Saturday, April 27, at the NEWMAC Track and Field Championship meet. The event will be hosted by Springfield College

Cash will not be accepted at the entrance and all tickets must be purchased in advance or by mobile phone at the entrance.

The Seahawks will head into the weekending having competed at five meets, giving them the opportunuty to contend with several NEWMAC schools prior to seeing them again at the championships. 

Salve Regina has posted a strong start to the season with two athletes breaking team records. Freshman Anna Weygang (Farmington, Conn.) set the new school record in the women's 5000-meter run with a time of 18:36.83 at the Jerry Gravel Invitational on Saturday, April 13. Freshman Olivia Tacconi (Waldwick, N.J.) went 12.89 in the women's 100-meters on Saturday, April 20, at the Trinity Invitational, also achieving a new school record.
