Five Seahawks victorious at CCC invite

WENHAM, Mass. - Five Salve Regina track and field athletes garnered first place finishes at the Commonwealth Coast Conference track and field invitational held at Gordon College. Roger Williams University placed first in the women’s meet with 214 points. Salve Regina recorded 80 points for second while Gordon placed third with 65.

NEW LONDON, Conn. - Freshmen MaryElizabeth Pfund (Tenafly, N.J.) and Rebecca Longvall (Boylston, Mass.) scored victories in the 100m hurdles and the javelin respectively and led the Seahawks to an eighth place finish with 48 points at the Silfin Invitational held by Connecticut College.

Seahawks run, jump, throw in rain at Coast Guard

NEW LONDON, Conn. - Freshman Rebecca Longvall (Boylston, Mass.) continued her undefeated streak with a first place finish in the javelin at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy Invitational in New London, Conn.

In her first collegiate track meet, freshman Rebecca Longvall qualified for the New England Division III Championships in the javelin. She won the event at the Bears Invitational. Teammate Kayley Ryan also qualified for the New England championships in the 3000m Steeplechase.
