The 4x100m relay team of junior Kelsey Jacobsen (Albany, N.Y.), sophomore Kristen Peterson (Holden, Mass.), and freshmen Lexi Bracco (Hauppauge, N.Y.) and Janei White (Bridgeport, Conn.) placed second with a time of 52.80. "We are a very young team loaded primarily with freshmen and sophomores," said head coach Matt Hird. "Getting use to the collegiate competitive environment and the weather can be trying. After having our first meet last week in frigid temperatures, we competed much better this week. We had many more smiling faces, and we're really hoping to shine next week at UMass Dartmouth."

Saturday's meet at UMD begins at 10 a.m.
