PROVIDENCE, R.I. (September 13, 2021) - Salve Regina University women's tennis began its season on the road and dropped a 9-0 decision at Rhode Island College. The Anchorwomen swept three doubles followed by six singles matches, all in straight sets.

Seahawk head coach Bruce Levine: "The women's team has come very far. They're starting to show signs of being a team, they're working hard, and they're understanding what it takes to get where they want to go."

The Seahawks (0-1) play their first home match of the season against Suffolk University on Wednesday, September 15, with a 3 p.m. first serve on the Leroy Avenue courts.
