NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University took two of three doubles and four of six singles to finish with a 6-3 win against Eastern Nazarene College in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action in Newport.

Salve Regina improves to 25-0 all-time against Eastern Nazarene including 217 individual wins and just 17 losses in the series.

Shealyn FitzPatrick (South Windsor, Conn.), who cruised to a 6-0 first-set win and then found herself trailing 4-1 in the second set, won six of her last seven games to win in straight sets and clinch the team score for Salve Regina.
