SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (September 30, 2019) -- The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has selected Salve Regina University junior Carah Cote (Adams, Mass.) as its Offensive Player of the Week for women's soccer (September 23-29).
Offensive Player of the Week - Cote had an impressive week, totaling nine points as the Seahawks went 2-1-0. Cote started the week with a hat trick in a 3-0 win against UMass Dartmouth on Tuesday (Sept. 24). She also had the game-winning goal and an assist in a 3-1 conference victory over Nichols on Saturday (Sept. 28).
"Carah had a break out week by producing the majority of our offensive opportunities," says fifth-year head coach Jane Walsh. "She's found her flow up top and I believe there's more to come."
The Seahawks (6-4-0, 2-0-0 CCC) travel to play the Owls of Keene State College, Coach Walsh's alma mater, on Wednesday at 5 p.m., before returning to Reynolds Field to host Roger Williams University on Saturday (3 p.m.) during Fall Festival Weekend.
