LAST TIME OUT
Salve Regina University scored three unanswered goals in the second half to defeat visiting Rhode Island College in non-league women's soccer action at Toppa Field.

SEAHAWKS NOTES FROM THE NEST

  • Seniors Delaney Maxell, Abby McMackin, Carly Pala are serving as tri-captains for the 2018 season.
  • Jamie Robert was named CCC Rookie of the Week (Sept. 3-9).
  • Robert scored the first two goals of her collegiate career this weekend with a multi-goal game against Rhode Island College on Saturday (Sept. 8). Her first goal, which turned out to be the game-winner, was a long right-footed shot from 18 yards out, which beat the keeper. Goal number two came on a header late in the contest to seal the 3-1 victory.
  • Robert and McMackin both lead the Seahawks in scoring with two goals, while McMackin has added an assist as well.
  • Pala has started every game for the Seahawks in net and is 2-1 with 20 saves on the season.

COLONELS CLIPPINGS

  • The Colonels have won four in a row, all by shutout, outscoring their opponents 16-0 during this stretch.
  • Tayla Randall leads the team in scoring with five goals while Isabella Shields has scored twice and handed out three assists to rank second on the squad.
  • Katelyn DeMaio has started all six games for the Colonels and is 5-1 in net with 30 saves.

INSIDE THE SERIES
The Colonels own a 17-13-1 record versus the Seahawks all-time and have gone 3-1-1 in the last five meetings. Last season the teams battled to a 0-0 draw in Milton, Mass.

Salve Regina hosts Bridgewater State on Wednesday, September 19 (4 p.m.); Curry travels to Plymouth State on Wednesday.
