MIDDLETOWN, R.I. - Nine different players scored for the Salve Regina University women's lacrosse team in a 23-2 victory over visiting Nichols College in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action.

- Salve Regina senior Kaity Doherty (Portsmouth, R.I.) scored six times to move into eighth on the Seahawks all-time scoring list.
- Salve Regina sophomore Kelly Ventura (Floral Park, N.Y.) scored four times, assisted on a goal, collected three ground balls, three draw controls, and caused two turnovers.
- Salve Regina senior Christina Myers (River Edge, N.J.) made three saves to improve to 3-1 between the pipes.
Turning Point
Salve Regina scored the first five goals of the game before McKenna Gernander (Coleraine, Minn.) put the Bison on the board with 19:05 to go in the first half. The Seahawks closed the first half on a 9-0 run to lead comfortably at halftime. The Seahawks scored 16 unanswered goals before the Bison scored again with just 5:26 remaining in the game.
