Riley Esposito- CCC Player of the Week // Nov. 20-26

BEVERLY, Mass. (Monday, November 27, 2023) – Sophomore Riley Esposito of Salve Regina women's ice hockey has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Player of the week for November 20-26.

Esposito had a two-goal week last week after scoring the team's second goal and providing an assist in the 4-2 victory over the Salem State University Vikings. On Saturday, November 25 the Seahawks were down 2-1 in the final period to the Connecticut College Camels. Esposito made the game tying goal at 14:50. To start out the 2023-24 season Esposito has three goals and three assists, which contribute to her career-total 15 goals and nine assists.

"Riley is really starting to find her stride," said head coach David Lun. "With some help from increased production from her line, or linemates, Riley is returning to the stat-lines she finished with last year. It's coming at a great time of year as we push into the break with some big CCC matches ahead."

The team takes on Curry College in a two-game series on November 2-3, giving Esposito and the Seahawks another opportunity for CCC success this upcoming week.
