Chisholm named to the CHC first team

NEWPORT, R.I. Senior  Taylor Chisholm (Discovery Bay, Calif.) has been named a first team forward on the Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) All-Conference team as selected by the league's seven head coaches.

Chisholm claimed the third forward spot on first team after leading the Seahawks with eight points on five goals and three assists in CHC action. The senior captain recorded 21 total points (13 goals, eight assists) on the season and skated to a +6 ranking in 25 games played. She led the Seahawks in scoring for the second straight season.

Chisholm, a two-time captain, currently ranks 7th all-time in total scoring and goal scoring for the Seahawks with 36 goals and 39 assists for 75 total points in her career.

Salve Regina (6-17-2, 3-8-1 CHC) travels to face two-time defending champion Morrisville State in the first round of the CHC playoffs this Saturday, February 23, at 1 p.m.
