Phalon named All-NEHC forward

NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University senior forward Danielle Phalon (Stoneham, Mass.) earned a selection to the 2015-16 Women's Ice Hockey All-Conference First Team in voting by the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) coaches.

Phalon appeared in every game this year for the Seahawks and totaled 17 goals and eight assists for 25 total points. Phalon is tied for first place in power-play goals this season (five) and her 17 goals rank her second in the NEHC.

This is Phalon's second straight all-conference first team selection after being name an ECAC Women's East first team forward last year.

The Seahawks (10-12-3, 8-7-2 NEHC) will be on the road this weekend when they face the University of New England in the quarterfinal round of the NEHC playoffs at 4 p.m.
