Muehlbronner named ECAC East Goalie of the Week

CENTERVILLE, Mass. – Senior goalie Ali Muehlbronner (Glenside, Pa.) has been announced as the Eastern College Athletic Conference East Goalie of the Week, as announced by the conference office this afternoon.

Muehlbronner was instrumental in Salve Regina's 2-0 run this past week. The senior netminder made 26 saves over the week with a 0.53 GAA and posted a .963 save percentage, allowing just one goal and recording her second shutout of the season by blanking Plymouth State Saturday afternoon.

Muehlbronner now has 411 saves this season and 1,170 in her career, which places her fourth on Salve Regina's all-time saves list.

The Seahawks return to the ice when they host UMass Boston on Friday, Feb. 1 at St. George's School. The opening faceoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
