Pipers pepper Seahawks for 15 treys in Daytona Beach

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Saturday, December 30, 2023) - The Hamline University women's basketball team's 15 three-point baskets highlighted their 82-43 victory over Salve Regina University at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida on Saturday afternoon.
The Pipers, who haven't made 15 three-pointers since a 76-61 win over Carleton on January 12, 2019, improve to 6-4 on the season. The Seahawks fall to 5-8.

SUMMARY
Lydia Lecher's game-high 19 points consisted of a 5-of-9 mark from beyond the arch, as well as 7-of-13 shooting. Michaela Stamer, who made 3-of-5 three-pointers, added 17 points and three assists while Camille Cummings came off the bench with 16 points. Sophie Stork paced Hamline with eight rebounds and two steals.
The Pipers shot 30-of-65 (.462) from the field, and held the Seahawks to a 15-of-58 (.259) mark. Briana Neary paced Salve Regina with 13 points.
