She started her coaching career at SUNY New Paltz in 2016. The Hawks defeated nationally ranked SUNY Cortland and qualified for their conference tournament in the two years DeLade was on staff.

DeLade enjoyed a successful playing career at Manhattanville College, starting at shortstop for four straight years and finishing in the top 10 in program history in career walks (seventh with 49), homers (ninth with 11) and games played (ninth with 141).
