SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Second-seeded Salve Regina University suffered its second straight extra-inning defeat in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Softball Championship, and the Seahawks were eliminated by fifth seed Roger Williams University, 4-3 in 10 innings, at the home site of the top-seeded Western New England Golden Bears.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Junior McKenzie Pezze hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift Western New England to a 6-5 victory over Salve Regina in the second game of a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) doubleheader at Golden Bear Softball Park on Saturday. The visiting Seahawks, however, took the first game 12-4 in six innings to spoil senior day for Western New England.
