NEWPORT, R.I. – Salve Regina University has landed 46 student-athletes on the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) 2014-15 Winter/Spring Academic All-Conference Team, announced Friday, June 5 by Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Second-seeded Salve Regina University suffered its second straight extra-inning defeat in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Softball Championship, and the Seahawks were eliminated by fifth seed Roger Williams University, 4-3 in 10 innings, at the home site of the top-seeded Western New England Golden Bears.

Genevieve Benoit had seven hits in eight at bats, drove in four runs and scored twice during Salve Regina's doubleheader sweep at Endicott on Tuesday.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Junior McKenzie Pezze hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift Western New England to a 6-5 victory over Salve Regina in the second game of a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) doubleheader at Golden Bear Softball Park on Saturday. The visiting Seahawks, however, took the first game 12-4 in six innings to spoil senior day for Western New England.

NEWPORT, R.I. – The Salve Regina University softball team got homers from Nikki Bukovsky (Wesport, Conn.) and Genevieve Benoit (Swampscott, Mass.) as the Seahawks swept a doubleheader with Rhode Island College in non-conference action Thursday evening.

NEWPORT, R.I. - After a pitchers' duel through seven innings erupted with 11 runs scored in extra innings, Salve Regina University softball had a 7-6 victory and its first win over Brandeis University since 1999.
