Seahawks race again in Bristol
BRISTOL, R.I. - On an overcast Saturday morning under chilly 45-degree running conditions, the Salve Regina University men's cross country team raced to a 44th place finish at the ECAC Division III Cross Country Championships at Colt State Park.
Sophomore James Weselcouch (East Haddam, Conn.) completed the race in 226th place with a time of 30:49 to pace the Seahawks. Following Weselcouch across the finish line was Brian Dagliere (North Haven, Conn.), who placed 268th with a time of 32:50. Michael Stankus (Cropseyville, N.Y.) finished in 33:40 placing 274th overall, and soon was followed by Grant Olsen (Bay Head, N.J.) who placed 277th with a time of 33:59, while Nick Albanese (Hopatcong, N.J.) completed the Seahawk scoring in 285th place with a time of 34:57.
The Seahawks will travel next weekend to Williams College in Willliamstown, Mass., to compete at the NCAA Division III New England Regional Cross Country Championships.
