Batstone, DiPiazza claim CCC singles victories

NEWPORT, R.I. (Wednesday, March 31, 2021) - Salve Regina University freshman Ned Batstone (Abington, England) and senior Clarke DiPiazza (Waldwick, N.J.) scored straight set victories in singles play (first and sixth, respectively) to account for the two points in a 7-2 loss to Nichols College in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men's tennis action.
Today marked the first action for the Seahawks (0-1) in 536 days (Oct. 13, 2019) since COVID-19 had cancelled the entire 2020 season.
