Summary
Wentworth Institute of Technology won two of three doubles matches and split six singles matches to down Salve Regina University men's tennis, 5-4, in a non-league meeting in Newport.

Series and Streaks
Salve Regina leads the all-time series with Wentworth, 23-9, but the Leopards have won the last six meetings. These two schools won the first four Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men's tennis championships - Wentworth (1989, 1990) and Salve Regina (1991, 1992). The Seahawks have won a league-high 15 titles including most recently in 2010.
