Postponed tennis matches create doubleheaders in the spring

NEWPORT, R.I. - The Salve Regina University men's tennis match versus Babson College has been postponed from today due to high winds and rain in the forecast for most of New England. The two teams will meet in the spring with the match re-scheduled as a doubleheader featuring both school's women's tennis teams on Friday, April 15, 2011 (3 p.m.) on the Seahawks' Leroy Avenue courts.

The Salve Regina University women's tennis team has re-scheduled its dual match with Wheaton College, originally scheduled as a home match on September 3 before Hurricane Earl forced its postponement, to Thursday, March 31 (4 p.m.) at Norton, Mass. The Seahawk men's team will also join the women for a doubleheader against the Lyons that day.
