NEWPORT, R.I. – Graduate goalkeeper William Russell made a career-high 13 saves to lead the visiting Bridgewater State University men's soccer team to a 1-0 shutout victory over Salve Regina University on Wednesday night at Toppa Field.
The Bears improve to 5-1-4 on the season with the win as they extended their unbeaten streak to eight games. The Seahawks fall to 5-6 with their second straight setback.

- Senior keeper Zach Rock made four second-half saves for the Seahawks including a diving stop of a Dan Santos penalty kick.
- Back-to-back corner kicks following the PK led to a quality BSU scoring opportunity, but Santos' header was turned aside by Rock.
