Arpin, Borges collect Scholar All-Region

NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University men's soccer juniors Evan Arpin (Andover, Mass.) and Jordan Borges (Milford, Mass.) have each been named Scholar All-Region by the United Soccer Coaches.

Head coach Craig O'Rourke II on his two Scholar All-Region honorees:

"I am so happy for both Evan and Jordan to add this award to their already impressive resumes.  This is the first time that our program has had two players named First Team Scholar All-Region and I cannot think of two more deserving student-athletes than these two young men.  Both of them had exceptional seasons on the field and demonstrated the technical ability and tactical awareness of upper echelon, top shelf players.  And their commitment in the classroom and to their coursework frankly make them the true epitome of what a 'student-athlete' should be."
