WEYMOUTH, Mass. - Jordan Borges netted the only goal for the Salve Regina University men's soccer team in the 39th minute of a 1-1 draw with Eastern Nazarene College in non-conference action Thursday night.
Manuel Vibot potted the Lions only goal to knot the score in the 62nd for the games final margin.
Salve Regina held a narrow edge in shots (15-14) and corners (6-5).
Troy Mauer made four saves in the draw for his first decision of the season while Lucas Batz made five saves for the Lions in his first start of the year as well.
Salve Regina (5-1-3) is unbeaten in its last four matches and will next travel to Gordon on October 1 for a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) match at 1 p.m.
