Camarda, Jentgen, Knoth, and McAllister named All-CCC

NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University seniors Nicodemo Camarda (Burlington, Mass.), Ian Jentgen (Columbus, Ohio), Christopher Knoth (East Islip, N.Y.), and Sean McAllister (North Arlington, N.J.) were each named to the All-Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Men's Soccer Team, as announced by commissioner Gregg Kaye on Sunday. McAllister and Jentgen were both selected to the All-CCC Second Team, while Knoth and Camarda each earned All-CCC Honorable Mention.

McAllister led the Seahawks in points (18), goals (7), and assists (4) this season. He set the program's all-time career points record on October 3, 2011 with a goal versus Johnson & Wales. He finished his Salve Regina career with 91 career points.

Jentgen was the leader of the Salve Regina defense this year, helping the Seahawks hold their opponents to one goal or less during 13 of their 19 games this year.

Knoth finished his senior season with eight points on three goals and a pair of assists. He led the Seahawks with two game-winning goals on the year including a late second half score on Senior Day to lift Salve Regina to a 2-1 victory over UNE.

As a team captain and starting midfielder this season, Camarda collected two goals on the year, highlighted by the game-winning score in a conference match versus Eastern Nazarene.
