Bio

Bernasconi enters his third season on the Seahawks coaching staff. Coach Bernasconi comes to Salve with many years coaching experience at the college, high school and club levels.  He will serve as Defensive Coordinator & Video Coordinator for the Seahawks.   He began his college coaching career in 1994 as an assistant at Roger Williams.  In 1995, he was named the first coach at the Wentworth Institute of Technology.  He led the program transition from club to varsity lacrosse.  Posted a 12-11 record over 2 varsity seasons, earning the programs first CCC playoff berth in 1998.

More recently, Coach Bernasconi coached in the NESLL club program from 2011 thru 2014.  During that time, he had the pleasure of coaching over 60 players that went on to be standout intercollegiate student-athletes.   Currently he is also coaching for the Rhode Island Lacrosse Club developing players grades 3 thru 12.

Coach Bernasconi is a Roger Williams University graduate Class of 1991 where he was a member of the school’s first conference title team in 1991.
