CAMBRIDGE, Mass. The Engineers continued to surge ahead in quarter two. MIT achieved six goals but did not shutout the Seahawks completely, due to Jackson NouryLiam Cooney and Chris Koltzan's jabs, which advanced the score to 12-7 at halftime.

In the third period MIT commandeered the game with an aggressive offensive front. The Engineers allowed only one Salve Regina goal, made by Chris Koltzan with 1:32 to go, while scoring seven successive goals of their own. This effort extended MIT's lead to 19-8.

The final quarter saw two more Slave Regina successes, however it wasn't without MIT sneaking in six more goals for a 15-10 final score. Salve Regina advances to the post season as the No. 5 seed and MIT moves forward as the No. 3 seed.
