Summary
MIDDLETOWN, R.I. – Junior goalie Ryan Chambers (Wakefield, Mass.) made a game-high 17 saves for the Salve Regina University men's lacrosse team which outscored visiting Curry College 9-4 in the second half to earn a 15-11 victory.

The Seahawks improve to 15-9-0 all-time versus the Colonels.

  1. Salve Regina junior Ryan Chambers made 17 saves to improve to 2-1 in net.
  2. Salve Regina senior Pat Leary (Wakefield, Mass.) scored four times to lead the Seahawk attack.
  3. Curry sophomore Nick Perfetuo (Norwell, Mass.) scored four times to pace the Colonel offense.

Turning Point
After trailing 2-0 through one quarter, and 7-6 at halftime, Salve Regina scored the first four goals of the second half to retake the lead for good. The Colonels drew within a score, 10-9 on Perfetuo's fourth goal with 3:44 left in the third, but the Seahawks scored the next five goals for a large enough cushion to secure the victory.
