SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has selected Salve Regina University freshman Ryan Reilly (Hingham, Mass.) as its Rookie of the Week for men's lacrosse.

Reilly got his collegiate career started with a pair of wins as Salve Regina defeated Clark and UMass-Dartmouth to open the season. Against Clark, the first-year Seahawk caused one turnover and collected one ground ball. He then got on the scoresheet against the Corsairs with a goal and two assists. He also had two ground balls and a turnover in that contest.

The Seahawks (2-0) take on Johnson & Wales this Tuesday, February 25, at 7 p.m., on Toppa Field.
