Aidan Coupe - CCC Rookie of the Week // Oct. 30-Nov. 5

BEVERLY, Mass. – Aidan Coupe of Salve Regina men's ice hockey has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the week for October 30-November 5. 

A freshman forward from Gilbert, Arizona, Coupe appeared in both contests against the Suffolk Rams last week. In game two, it was Coupe who score Salve Regina's first two goals of the night. His first goal came just 4:32 into the first period and he followed it up with a second goal 9:08 into the game. 

 "We are pleased to announce that Aiden has been recognized as rookie of the week," said head coach Zech Klann. "Coupe is demonstrating an admirable work ethic and noteworthy character traits. His contributions both on and off the ice have been commendable."

The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), founded in 1984, is an NCAA Division III athletic conference composed of 10 full member and two associate member institutions throughout the New England region. Its membership aims to provide student-athletes with a positive experience in their pursuit of excellence through high academic standards, quality competition and a meaningful student life. The conference administers championships in 20 intercollegiate sports.
