MILTON, Mass. - Senior captain George Sennott (North Andover, Mass.) scored twice while collecting his conference-leading fourth game-winning goal of the season as the Salve Regina University men's ice hockey team shutout 10th ranked Curry College 2-0 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Saturday night.

Sennott broke a scoreless tie with 1:35 remaining in the second period on a feed from teammates Damon Zimmer and Spencer Stanley. Then in the third fellow captain Cayden Kraus setup Sennott for his second goal of the night at 14:52 to give the Seahawks some insurance. The Colonels pulled the goalie in the final two minutes but Seahawks' netminder Nicholas Latinovich remained perfect on the evening, making three more saves to preserve the shutout and hand Salve Regina the 2-0 road victory despite being outshot 36-25.

Latinovich finished with 36 saves to earn his third shutout of the season and improve to 10-4-0 between the pipes while Reid Cooper made 23 saves in the loss for the Colonels to drop to 8-2-2 on the season.

Salve Regina (12-5-0, 10-3-0) travels to the University of New England on Monday, January 31, in a rescheduled contest while Curry (11-4-2, 9-3-1) next takes to the ice on Friday, February 4, with a home match versus Suffolk.
