Summary
MIDDLETOWN, R.I. - George Sennott (North Andover, Mass.) tipped in a game-winner in overtime to deliver a 3-2 victory for the Salve Regina University men's ice hockey team over visiting Nichols College in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Sunday evening.

  1. Salve Regina senior George Sennott scored his second game-winner in as many nights.
  2. Nichols junior Korbinian Lutz (Munchen, Germany) made a career-high 61 saves in the loss to fall to 1-4-1 in net.
  3. Salve Regina senior Nicholas Latinovich (Vaughn, Ont.) made 37 saves to improve to 3-2 between the pipes.

Turning Point
In overtime Brendan Kim (Burnaby, B.C.) peeled a puck off the far side boards and carried down the left-wing side of the attacking zone. He slipped a pass in the air across to George Sennott who swiped it out of the air on the back-hand, tucking it past Lutz to give the Seahawks the 3-2 victory.

  • Sennott scored a third period game-winning goal the previous night and finished with three goals on the weekend sweep of the Bison.
  • Braeden Young (Prince George, B.C.) scored his first career goal in the first period to give the Seahawks a 1-0 lead.
