SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has selected Salve Regina University junior Danny Eruzione (Winthrop, Mass.) as its Player of the Week for men's ice hockey.

Eruzione finished the regular season strong, putting up seven points in the Seahawks' two contests, both wins. He opened the week with a pair of assists in a 5-2 victory over Wentworth and followed that up with a two-goal, three-assist performance in the regular-season finale against Western New England. The junior forward became the team's all-time career assists leader this week and eclipsed the 100 career points mark. He is also six points away from becoming the program's all-time leading scorer.

The Seahawks (14-10-1, 10-7-1 CCC) earned the fourth seed in the CCC touranment and will host fifth seeded Nichols College on Wednesday, February 26, at 7 p.m., in the CCC quarterfinals.
