Seahawks ranked 12th in the Nation

Salve Regina moves up two spots in the national rankings after a sweep of Western New England.

NEWPORT, R.I. - The Salve Regina University men's ice hockey team has been ranked 12th in the nation by USCHO.com in the latest coaches' poll.

Salve Regina swept Western New England this past weekend with consecutive shutouts. The Seahawks first topped the Golden Bears 3-0 on their own ice then returned home for a 7-0 victory on Saturday evening.

The Seahawks (5-0-0, 4-0-0 CCC), will next take to the ice on Friday, Novmeber 22, when they play the first of a home-and-home with Wentowrth on the road.
